What you will do
- Lead the painting team; allocate tasks and run daily toolbox talks.
- Prepare surfaces — clean, sand, fill, prime — across wood, metal, foam, and plastics.
- Apply paints, enamels, varnishes, and lacquers with spray guns, rollers, and brushes.
- Create custom scenic finishes, faux textures, and precise color matches.
- Inspect finished surfaces; enforce HSE rules for chemical handling; maintain spray booths and equipment.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years as a team leader in professional painting, ideally an event, fabrication, or scenic shop.
- Proven team leadership with strong communication.
- Proficiency with spray equipment, power tools, and sanders; exceptional finish quality.
- ERP/inventory software basics and Excel reporting a plus.
